the chateau

Chateau de Puissentut has all the elements you need for the perfect wedding day and enjoyable stay. In addition to being a stunning back-drop to your celebration, Chateau de Puissentut is a wonderfully peaceful, comfortable place to enjoy time-out with your friends and family. The chateau is not a stuffy turrets and towers venue, it is somewhere you can feel at home.

The chateau can accommodate up to 26 guests across two properties:

The Main House
has 10 large en-suite double rooms (which can also be made up as twin beds) and two single rooms, each uniquely furnished in our signature laid back luxury style.

The Cottage sleeps four in a double and twin room with shared bathroom and open-plan living area.

"Staying in the beautiful chateau was an absolute highlight of our wedding. Angela and DK have done an amazing job of creating a luxurious environment that you feel instantly at home in" Ella

our facilities

The chateau is an exclusive hire venue with a minimum of 4 nights rental of The Main House. The spacious communal areas include two lounges with wifi, a grand dining room, and a professional, fully-kitted kitchen for you and your caterers to use. A central courtyard with views across fields and woodland provides the ideal spot for outside dining, and you can soak up some sun by the pool or relax with a book in a shady spot in the garden.

On your wedding day make use of the 17th Century Pigeonnier for your ceremony followed by a champagne reception at the garden bar. You have the option to hold your wedding banquet on the lawn or in the large, indoor barn, while the outdoor barn complete with bar, fairy lights, antique rugs and firepits is perfect for your party.

We are wheelchair accessible and child and dog friendly.
